Why customer is not a "Queen"?
Today (March 8) is World Women’s Day. Do men have such a special day for themselves? What a great status world has conferred to women!!!!!!!But on deep thinking, women world over have not received respect or recognition real terms. Whatever they have got from this male dominated world is in the form of sheer tokenism. Of course modern days have seen women being able to compete with there opposite sex. They are getting opportunities in most of the fields of society. This is not due to courtesy or generosity of the men’s world, but because of the fighting spirit of the women folk.Even though we are in 21st century and giving way, physically, to march forward, we have prejudice in mind. On this day we remember the women who fought for their rights, for society’s well being, honor the women achievers, wish them equal recognition, pledge to remove inequalities between men and women. Alas! It stops there itself.Everything is in words only, not in deed! Otherwise what is preventing us to address a woman in the apex post of an organization as chairwoman instead of chairperson? When a man in the same position is referred as Chair’man’ ,why the woman in the same job can’t be a Chair’woman’? have you ever heard of the word Chairwoman?For decades customer is the King! Why not a ‘Queen’? What about a lady customer?Why God is “HE”, not “SHE” or “IT”?There is ‘wife swapping’ in ‘broad minder’s world’. Why not ‘Husband swapping’?Jessica Lal got murdered by a bastard for refusing to server him a drink. If the server was a male would he had received the bullet shots?Without the domestic support of women man cannot achieve anything in the outside world. Whatever he is getting as recognition, reward, success or money, it is because of the backend support of the women at home.Let’s recognize and respect her not in mere words but in deed.HAPPY WOMEN’S DAY

Whom to blame; Legal system or investigating authorities?
In the British Raj period hunting wild animals was a hobby of the elite class and there were no restrictions for it. It was a thrilling game for the top class. Now hunting is banned. But elite class has found a new “time pass” in playing with our judicial system. They commit a crime and outsmart our legal system very effectively and efficiently. Long arms of law are not long enough to catch the elite. That’s the conclusion common man will arrive at after the recent verdict in the Jessica Lal murder case.This case went on for six long years and 100 witnesses were examined. Ninety nine of them turned hostile! When 99 witnesses in a single case can turn hostile, one can imagine how easy it is, in our legal system, for witnesses to turn hostile! It shows that our judicial jaws are weak and the financially sound people can buy the witnesses in block deals!!!!The whole country knew about who killed Jessica, the celeb bartender at Tamarind Court in New Delhi. But the honorable court acquitted all the accused since the prosecution failed to prove its case. Whom should we blame; investigating authorities or our legal system?Defense lawyer in this case Mr. I U Khan is very happy. He has said “We are happy with the court’s decision. This was a case of no evidence as the weapon of offence was never found.” Wah! He is a brilliant lawyer who has used the loopholes of the legal sections very effectively and efficiently to the advantage of a murderer. Didn’t he know that his client was a murderer? Was his conscience dead? Actions of lawyers like him tempt us to doubt the social and moral responsibilities of lawyers. When we see them defending the criminals, being fully aware of their client’s antecedents, it is natural for us to consider lawyers as liars.Lawyers alone can’t be held responsible for the ill wills of our legal system. Actually there are many number of lawyers who deserve our respect for doing justice to their noble profession and upholding the truth. These lawyers have kept alive our hope in the legal system.Our legal system is having lots of loopholes. These have to be pegged urgently. Otherwise anarchy will rule our nation. But who will bell the cat? Is the million or may be a Billion dollar question!!!!!!!!
How to disable a stolen Mobile Phone
Key in *#06# on your mobile phone. A 15 digit number will appear on the screen. Its your mobile phone’s serial number. Note down it somewhere in safe place. Should your mobile get stolen contact your Service Provider and give them 15 digit code. They will then block your handset. Even if the thief changes the SIM card ,your mobile set will be totally useless. You probably won’t get your phone back ,but at least you know that whoever stole it can’t use/sell it either.If everybody did this , there would be no point in stealing mobile phones. Oh ! Its Valentine day again.
Kudos to St.Valentine. What?! St.valentine?! Who is he? What’s the business of a saint on a day like Valentines?!!!!!!!I am afraid majority of valentine day ‘celebrator’ are unaware of the sacrifice of the saint who is supposed to be remembered today. What an irony?Now the Ugliest question on a Beautiful Day; should we earmark one of the 365 days of the year for love? Designating a day for everything has become a latest and furious fashion thereby making ourselves too mechanical beings. Father’s Day, Mother’s Day, Doctors’ Day so on and so forth.Do we really need a special day to express our love to our girl friend, lifepartner, boyfriend, mother, and father? Do we need a special day to say “Mom, I love you” or “Dad, its you who have a special place in my heart”?One day a man learn’t about her mother’s sacrifice and single handed struggle in making it possible for him to lead a dignified life. He was in tears that whole day. He wanted to present her a gift. He searched many a shops for an appropriate gift and got one. He decided to express his gratitude on ‘Mother’s Day’ which was a month away then. He was very eagerly waiting for that special, eventful day. The days were not passing in the desired speed. At last it was just three days away. Unfortunately his mother passed away.What are we achieving by having a day for each and every aspect of our lives? just think and you can realize that we are commercializing our values, our beliefs and ultimately ourselves. And unknowingly we are playing to the tunes of Commercial forces.Let us not limit our love towards the loved ones to a single day of the year.When ‘She’ hugs me silently during my return to home after a long and tiring day is my Valentine day. Vibrant Democracy.But...............No doubt,India has a Vibrant Democracy.Voter is the supreme.This has been demonstrated many a times.The Bihar is the latest episode.But................Indian polity comprises largely criminals,their nurtures,law breakers and corrupt souls.Why is this sorry state ?Inspite of regular" punishment "by the voter every once in five years,and sometimes earlier also,how can these goons et al occupy the seats in parliament ?Just analyse the percentage of polling for past 2-3 election.You will find that polling percentage haven't crossed 60%.If you discount the jugglery in poll percentage you may arrive at a shocking sub 50 figure! If total number of votes polled,lets assume,are 10000 and the candidates in the fray were 4,three together are assumed to have got around 6000 votes.The remaining 4000 votes might have been bagged by a single candidate and this candidate is declared a winner.Go extra deep:the so called winner is actually rejected by the 6000 voters!!!!!!!That means we are being ruled by those who were rejected by us!Secondly ,why we are witnessing lower voter turnout ?Though we have different candidates to choose from and these candidates come from different parties,their hidden character is one and the same.All are power hungry,corrupt etc,etc....We have no choice.Only option is left is to elect the lesser evil.This irritates the enlightend voters and they prefer to remain indoors during the D-days ,to electing a "lesser evil".The continuous degeneration of political standards have withheld the really concerned,good people from entering the politics.Unless and until the good people enter politics and give us better choices to elect from,this sordid state of politics will continue even upto the Centenary Year of Indian indipendence.
